Antony Gibbon Designs creates treehouses for adults. This treehouse design is called the ‘Embryo Treehouse’ and it looks as if it grew on its own. A fascinating feature of these tree houses is they look like part of the tree. It is a two-storey elevated house with cedar shingles that help it to blend with the environment. To enter the house, a hatch door opens and a staircase drops down.

You can customize your house by choosing between three different style windows that can be arranged to optimize natural light coming in. These tree houses resemble an embryo and looks as if other worldly inhabitants live there, when in fact it’s for humans. The treehouse community revolves around the idea that we need to become closer to nature by affirming our connection with it.
