Stal Collectief's Eliz Lamp Provides a Privacy-Ensured Light Zone

There have been a lot of large light fixtures popping up lately and the latest is the = Eliz Lamp. In particular, it appears that designers are becoming extremely fascinated with the lampshade as the true focal point of these designs. Dramatic and artistic, the Eliz Lamp offers more than just illumination in darkened rooms.

Designed by Belgium-based studio Stal Collectief, the Eliz Lamp not only shed lights, but it also provides a kind of shelter that can act as a pseudo-privacy pod for one or more people. Considering that there are some pretty bold details in the Eliz Lamp, I like that the overall design is minimalist. The elegant, thin base beautifully complements the oversized felt lampshade, creating a pleasant light zone in spaces. Stats for Giant Felt Lampshades Trending: Older & Average
