Electrolux Cocoon Prepares Chicken and Fish With Focus on Human Needs

With the growing desire to save food Electrolux Cocoon is a perfect kitchen appliance to reduce waste and satisfy hunger.

The Eectrolux Cocoon is a creatively designed device (somewhere between a pot and pan) that uses radio frequencies on any piece of fish or chicken in order to calculate the perfect cooking time. The concept of the Cocoon is to potentially measure and “grow” chicken and fish from pre-made packages.

The Electrolux Cocoon won the Electrolux Design Lab 2009 competition which awards a cash prize and a 6-month internship with the illustrious design firm.
