Between conventional report cards and standardized testing, there are lots of ways to quantify the learning experience -- but this educational survey tool measures the intangible aspects of the classroom. Panorama Education enables schools to conduct surveys that evaluate the more abstract aspects of the student experience.

The dashboard tool comes from a Boston-based data analytics startup. Panorama Education aims to help academic establishments to conduct regular questionnaires in an affordable and streamlined manner. Specifically designed for Kindergarten to 12th grade, the educational survey platform allows institutions to obtain feedback from students as well as teachers and parents. The collected data (which is gathered using a paper-based system) is then turned into comprehensive reports.

Currently the company is in place in 6500 schools in the United States while the dashboard in particular was tested at 300 schools.
