The Starch Chair by Max Lamb evokes in me strong hope for the future of green furniture design. The chair shown above is created by squirting out a continuous tube of starches which are layered so that the starch forms the shape of a chair. A chair made of starch is, of course, edible, easily biodegradable and can be sculpted into a final shape according to the user’s needs.
