For that extra-special occasion when you really want to crank up the wow-factor, you can impress your guests when you serve an ultra-exotic glass of champagne. Here’s the best part - it won’t cost a fortune. The wild hibiscus flowers in syrup are a beautiful addition to a glass of bubbly, and will be sure to leave you holding the “hostess with the mostess” title.

Simply drop your crimson flower into a glass of sparkling wine or champagne and watch it slowly open itself as the bubbles dissolve its sticky syrup. The edible Australian decor looks like a million bucks—no one will have any idea that you paid less than a dollar per bloom! That’s right, the jar of 11 flowers comes in at a measly $10!

So I know now what I’ll be serving at my wedding, all I have left to do is find myself a groom!

Best served as a garnish in Champagne or a good Australian Sparkling wine such as Yellowglen or the Jacobs Creek sparkling Pinot Noir/Chardonnay. Place a whole Hibiscus Flower in the bottom of a Champagne flute, pour some of the Crimson Syrup in on top and then fill up with Champagne! The Spectacular, Crown shaped flower sits in the bottom of the flute with all the bubbles streaming off and opening up the flower. The Champagne graduates from crimson at the bottom to light pink at the top. (bushtuckershop)
