Major brands are always trying to find ways to make themselves look better in the public eye, these eco-friendly billboards are the perfect way to do just that. These brands have been working with advertising agencies to create eco-friendly billboards that will reduce waste by recycling; in some cases these billboards create actual green-space by incorporating real growing plant life with the ads.
The Coke billboard in collaboration with the World Wildlife Federation has crated a board in the Philippines that has the signage and coke bottle are all made from eco-friendly materials, the bulk of the billboard is actually made out of Fukien tea plants.
Although the brands are doing this to make the general public think that they are great brands that care about the environment, this is still branding and advertising we are talking about. Either way it is nice to see that there is an effort being made.
