There is so much controversy involved with mining diamonds, that a lot of couples have opted to skip the icey bobbles entirely. For the bling-thirsty yet globally conscious, there are alternatives!
You won’t have to sacrifice glitz or contribute to the unethical treatment of miners thanks to San Francisco-based Brilliant Earth. The business was launched by Beth Gerstein and Eric Grossberg as a result of their love for each other and the Earth. Eric was stumped because he couldn’t find an ethical source for the dimaonds, so created Brilliant Earth as an alternative to the cruel industry.

Brilliant Earth also dedicates 5% of its profits to directly benefit local African communities harmed by the diamond industry.
