This eccentric hotel space is the newest addition to the Paris-based hotel chain 'Mama Shelter.'

The hotel is highly eclectic in its design, completely forgoing any of the traditional style and decor norms that most hotel chains offer. It is based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and was inspired by the art and culture it is surrounded by. The eccentric hotel was designed by the French architect Jalil Amor, who enlisted local and Indigenous artists to create art for the space. The hotel spans across two buildings and has 55 rooms.

With its design that is contemporary and steeped in the culture that surrounds it, this hotel is likely to appeal to locals and tourists alike.
