Young Dutch couple Martijn and Irene have managed to build a towable, off-grid tiny home from scratch for around only €25,000, which is equivalent to around US$28,270.

Measuring 6.7 x 2.55 x 3.95 meters and consisting of a total floorspace of 15 square meters, this tiny home is liberally clad in red cedar. Its design is exceptionally simple and traditional but looks absolutely fantastic.

The home is equipped with a decently sized living space that comes with a kitchenette, table and couch. The home also comes with a small bathroom that is fully equipped with a shower, sink as well as a composting toilet, while the small sleeping loft area features a double bed.

Ultimately, this tiny home proves that with some expertise and commitment, people can build their own comfortably tiny homes for a reasonable price.
