Taking traditional rugs, Bertjan Pot creates Duct Tape Carpets. It's as simple as methodically placing strips of colored tape in a grid-like pattern, creating an amalgamation of past and present in one fell swoop.

Designed first for Shared Space Exhibition, the Duct Tape Carpets have since grown into their own. Bertjan Pot essentially melts the duct tape into the textile so that it can be used as carpet without fear of them peeling off. What do you think about this tweak?
