Tailor house Valin and Quebec-based ad agency Lg2 have collaborated to feature a heartwarming and incredibly inspiring project that focuses on giving former drug addicts another chance at living a better life. The ad is called 'Fits The Misfits' calls to attention the realization that drug addicts are not innately "bad" people, but rather, they are irrational victims that are particularly prone to their illness.
The short features interviews of past drug addicts, allowing us to glimpse into their former lives. The main hardship that the ex-addicts face is the inability to find a job in the field of their choice as employers are prejudiced against addicts. In the hope of improving employer's perception of the former addicts, the campaign helps to transform them into confident and dignified individuals by making a custom made suit for each participant.
The result of this campaign: all the men were employed.
