The Dries Van Noten Fall 2014 Collection Isn't Shy with Color

The Dries Van Noten Fall 2014 Menswear Collection is not shying away from color by any means. In fact, color in this collection is used quite violently, either with tie dye techniques or brightly blocked panels. In the dark stables of the Grand Palais, the designer plays a dichotomy of punks and peacocks for fall.

High-low theatrics are fused with new romantic sensibility and gritty street smarts. Ruffled shirting and pearl string chokers appear from a myriad of strapped, topstitched quilting, while outerwear is saturated in moleskin and Aztec nylon.

The designer's signature monopants make an appearance here as well, proving that however far this designer strays from the pack, there's always a place for tradition.
