Luis Beltran's newest photography borders dreams and reality, analyzing what constitutes a dream and how reality can be bent in order to achieve a dream-like effect. Using photo editing techniques, Beltran has managed to create several beautiful pieces of photography, each one depicting a medley of imagination and reality.

For instance, one photograph shows a young girl on a plain wooden swing. However, instead of swinging from a swing set, the girl is swinging overtop of a gigantic, panoramic city. This type of situation could occur in a dream, or some fantastical daydream; but, like all dreams, it contains fragments of reality. The girl's swingset appears real, and so does the city; when paired together, the scene becomes unreal.

Beltran's amazing photography series demonstrates that photography can be used to capture more than simple reality; it can be used to alter reality, transforming it into scenarios we could otherwise only imagine. Stats for Whimsical Reality-Bending Photography Trending: Older & Warm
