Based on the video game series of the same name, 'Dragon Age: Redemption' casts Internet celebrity Felicia Day as Tallis, an Elvish assassin whose last chance at atonement is to capture or kill a nefarious mage who is intent on throwing the world into upheaval.
It's only when an intellectual property curries a certain level of acclaim and fan devotion that video game developers will begin planning outside properties like associated TV shows and films. BioWare Studios is apparently confident in the mettle of their 4-year-old series and hopes to launch a six-part miniseries called Dragon Age: Redemption starting October 11th. The portrayal of Tallis by the Internet-renowned Felicia Day lends more credibility to the webisodes, whose low budget prevents it from casting big name actors. Sure, the production quality may leave you with a cheesy taste in your mouth, but as far as gaming homages go, Redemption is second-to-none.
