Double Sided Toothbrush - More Efficient Oral Hygiene

There is now a double-sided toothbrush for those compulsive about their oral hygiene. One look at this nifty little idea provoked several questions in my mind, as the rat kept running faster on his treadmill.

Among others, the thoughts including:

Why not?
Why hasn’t this been invented before?
How could it possibly be worse than a regular toothbrush?
Did I miss the infomercial?
Which celebrities would make the best before & after commercial for this?
Is there an electric version?
What kind of ridiculous alternative use can this have?
How much time can this really save?
Would this be much more expensive to produce?
Would it appear first in a movie or a music video?
