The Doom Cube Boasts Textured Surfaces For Blind People

The Doom Cube may sound a little sinister, but it is far from that. Instead, it is a fun project that is geared towards the visually impaired. The reason it has been dubbed so darkly is because it is named after its creator, Brian Doom.

Essentially, the Doom Cube is a Rubik's Cube made for the blind. Taking the predominantly visual game, which is color coded to let people know how to rearrange the individual blocks, the Doom Cube has taken a tactile turn. In place of the typical colors, it boasts strong textures such as screw drivers, moss and more to help the visually impaired solve the puzzle without sight. Now everyone can enjoy the complex game.
