Canine Mansions 2 - Doggie Dream Homes (GALLERY)
|
Doggie Dream Homes will build a smaller version of a real home for dogs that may include furniture, curtains, air conditioning, satellite TV, internet and even a phone line. “It seems pretty bizarre that just as many Americans are losing their homes due to the sub prime mortgage crisis, others are building McMansions just for their dogs,” Dvice says. Well put!

Hey - I saw this last year I think on tv. These houses are incredible! I brought me back to playing in my club house when I was a kid. And I don't think there is anything wrong with spending money on something like this if you have the money! The people who purchase these don't generally have kids per say... their pets are their children... so why can't their four legged kids have a decked out club house? I think they are absolutely adorable and as a mother of two dogs, a cat and a bird...I would buy this if I had a few thousand to blow! If you like this check out sincerelyfido.com - my company. We sell trendy greeting cards for and from pets. We are even working on a line of pet party invitations with coordinating fill-in the blank thank you note written from the dog's perspective. oh man...I gotta say it, How many homeless kids could live in one of those? If people have a couple thousand to blow, WHY do they have to "blow" it...
I know I know, I should just shut up and let people have their fun. By: bedlamite23 on May 1, 08 | 1 Trends | 56 Comments |

Well, perhaps the people who purchase these adorable abodes already donate THOUSANDS to charity each year. No one ever really thinks of that. How much does someone have to give away to make it acceptable in the publics eyes to make an extravagant purchase? How do you know they haven't given away twice that amount?
