This twisted bookcase is really novel as it was inspired by the double helix of the blueprint of life, DNA. Despite the shape, it still functions as it was intended - a place to put books. It’ll look perfect in a corner as a static sculptural piece or even better, a rotary version which will allow easier access to the books and objects on the shelves. This design is not in production yet but could soon be if a manufacturer could be found. References: joelescalona, freshomeFiled In: |
