DIY Vintage Wallpaper - From Old Letters to Home Decor

The writing is on the wall here--literally. In a bout of collage creativity, the owners of the RE shop in the United Kingdom created an innovate alternative to traditional wallpaper by papering a wall in their shop with vintage letters they picked up at an estate sale. Similarly, vintage maps or newspapers would also make fabulous wall coverings. This would be great for walls in toilets - it would eliminate the need for people to bring their own reading materials. I love this idea, but when the letters begin lifting at the corners this is probably going to look alot more shabby than it does chic. Via: remodelista |
