This DIY Lamp Cover is Made of Clothespins

This DIY lamp cover by Crea-re Studio takes your average clothespins and uses them to create handmade lamps. They appear to be supported with a frame that is covered in various ways with clothes pegs made from beech wood. When the lamp is turned on, the light peeks out between the pins creating a beautiful arrangement of shadows giving the light fixture texture.

These lamps give off a similar look to bamboo reeds except they're less expensive and can be made from your very own household items. Each lamp is featured in different shapes and is completely customizable. Thus, this project gives you an opportunity to get creative with simple objects lying around the house. You can even customize this project even more by painting the clothespins as well.
