Just in time for the year's scariest holiday, these DIY Halloween cookies are sure to frighten and delight.

Halloween is the holiday when makers worldwide exercise some creativity to come up with baking projects that look like they might do the eating. This Halloween recipe's creator wanted to design something that, unlike so many of the complex fondant creations that crop up around this time of year, was simple to make and truly tasted good. These Halloween vampire cookie sandwiches were her solution.

The Halloween vampire creations are made by splitting a cookie in half and spreading red icing over one side of each cookie. The Dracula teeth inside are made of mini marshmallows, with slivered almonds for fangs. They look creepily realistic but are nonetheless sugary and delicious to sink your teeth into!
