Now that most fall collections have debuted, it's time to get a little kick out of the latest DIY designer jewelry ideas. Inspired by Dries Van Noten's fall collection, today's project entails a large silk flower, a can of spray paint, a long stickpin, a glue gun and wire clippers.

If you haven't guessed it yet, it's a DIY for an Oversized Floral Brooch, which you can attach to your top, a dress or your favorite canvas bag. After Dries Van Noten sported his refreshingly surreal floral corsages down the runway, the designer really left us no choice but to emulate the accessory in a creative project.

Though it's a slight departure from Carrie Bradshaw's inspired version, it's still a dramatic, fun and relevant accessory to wear on the daily.
