The DIY Brutalist-Inspired Lamp might seem like a complex home decor project, and that's because in a way it is. Conceived by Meg Kemnar of Design Milk, the DIY Brutalist-Inspired Lamp is made using soft copper, hammered texture spray paint, wood paste finishing wax, wood stain and, of course, all of the necessary tools. Essentially, the copper is cut jaggedly, painted and then rolled into ascending layers for the desired distressed, fortress-like look.
