The MTV Music Awards red carpet fashion was full of disco ball fashion—glittery, silver looks. Dynasty-inspired mini dresses seemed to be the most popular choices. It seems that metallic fashion refuses to die as it resurfaces time and time again.

I am not sure what it is about the disco ball fashion that makes women want to dress like Vegas show girls, but it looks like next season’s fashions will be heavy on metallics and sequins to keep you shining into 2010. These pieces are a mixture of the loud, yet feminine. Just remember not to over-accessorize; dresses like the one above are enough on their own.
