If you find yourself at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 17th, you'll be one of the lucky viewers to first witness the screening of fashion documentary, 'Dior and I' directed by Frédéric Tcheng.
Though just one descendant of his long lineage of fashion films, it's expected to capture the following of Raf Simons over a period of several months as he attempts to settle into his new role as the sixth couturier of Christian Dior.
Like many fashion documentaries depict, it's not all sunshine and rainbows; throughout the movie you witness the struggle to get the fabric done, which also serves as the central plot of the film. Simon demands an intensely complicated, highly technical printing technique that only four engravers in France know how to execute for the debut of his first show; as you can probably guess, outrageousness ensues.
