In a clever campaign to demonstrate the uniqueness of speakers at the last Digital Marketing Conference in Russia, advertisers put together a campaign to see who were the most overrated people in the digital marketing world.

Users could rate the people who they thought were the most overrated (or who used the same recycled material at each conference), and these individuals were then seen tied in various compromising positions. Of course, the whole thing was a joke, but it did manage to increase sales to the event by 90%. The campaign raised awareness that the Digital Marketing Conference would have new speakers, and also poked fun at leading professionals within the industry (with their willing participation too)!
