The Siri digital assistant has become a mainstay functionality for iPhone and iPad users, but now the technology is set to be incorporated into one's computer. With the announcement predicted to be made at the Worldwide Developer Conference, Siri for OS X is expected to be launched sometime in the fall of 2016.

Siri for OS X would be expected in the OS X 10.12 update and would feature a dedicated app that controls the digital assistant. An always-on feature is expected with users having the ability to simply start speaking a command and the assistant to chime in with help.

Siri for OS X has been a long awaited addition to the Mac environment with users pining for the robotic assistant to make an appearance for some time now.
