College is associated with a lot of takeout and instant noodles, but the Vegetarian Club at Penn State looks to help shine light on the dining situation for those with dietary restrictions.
The Vegetarian Club works to help ensure that the dining options on-campus are diverse, inclusive and help to satisfy students with varying dietary preferences or needs. The group also hosts potlucks and bake sales to help raise funds for causes and help incite more discussion around vegetarian and vegan lifestyles for those that attend the university and beyond.
Aside from having a say with campus food options, the Vegetarian Club also partakes in meetings and conferences that focus on animal welfare and other important issues.
