The new 'Mishka Edition Fisher Wallace Stimulator' is a brain stimulator that helps destigmatize mental health through quirky artwork and a unique design. While cranial electrotherapy stimulation may sound intimating, the treatment is actually prescribed for everything from depression to insomnia. In order to combat some of the misinformation surrounding this type of treatment, Fisher Wallace set out to create a less-intimidating brain stimulator device.
In order to create a more stylish brain stimulator, Fisher Wallace teamed up with the streetwear brand Mishka. The collaboration produced a device that more closely resembles a skateboard design than a medical tool. The Mishka Edition Fisher Wallace Stimulator features a black headband with a quirky eyeball design, as well as a supervillain-inspired carrying case. The tongue-in-check artwork is designed to turn an intimidating device into something lighthearted and accessible.
Through the new design, Fisher Wallace hopes to destigmatize mental health treatment and encourage millennials to explore cranial electrotherapy stimulation.
