The Dell Wyse Cloud Connect is a desktop virtualization device that runs on Android. The hand-held dongle transforms whatever screen its plugged into, whether it be a monitor or television, into a PC that is able to run corporate apps.

The dongle ultimately makes corporate information more accessible to employees, who would be able to use corporate software on their personal devices. Taking it one step further, the Windows to Go feature by Windows 8 allows IT professionals the ability to transfer employee's Windows software onto a USB.

The Dell Wyse would require all participating businesses and corporations to fully commit, converting their IT equipment and accompanying configuration to a system that would be supported by the device. Stats for Desktop Virtualization Devices Trending: Older & Popular
