When the United Arab Emirates learned that only 11% of drivers were wearing seat belts, they took a Hollywood approach to solve the problem.
Rather than launching the same ol’ safety campaign, they decided to launch a fashionable seatbelt campaign after Ramadan wherein seatbelts would be covered with images of the flag, sports logos and fashion houses.
This is an interesting and creative idea for the most part, but if they want to use the fashion house logos, they better get permission before they get sued. Designers are being invited to submit seat belt ideas.
