The Data Sandals are the World's Nerdiest Shoes

They may be uncomfortable or even outright painful, but the Data Sandals are capable of storing a lot of information. Well, they used to store data; now, they just make you look good.

Etsy user Steve Rodrig fashioned these stylish sandals out of printed circuit boards from discarded computers and appliances. The asking price: $350. It's unlikely you'll be wearing these to the club because, after a few paces, the bolts and plastic wires will probably hurt a lot. The Data Sandals come in one size because the creation is meant as an art piece -- and what a breathtaking art piece it is!

These metallic mocassins are just one of many art pieces fabricated by Rodrig using motherboards and silicone memory sticks. When everything around you, from vending machines to razor blades, comes equipped with circuitry, why wouldn't art be as well? Stats for Stream-Processing Stilettos Trending: Older & Average
