Using a device while driving has been proven to be dangerous through countless studies, but Dashbot lets drivers stay connected without putting themselves into a risky situation. Dashbot is an aftermarket add-on that can turn any car into an intelligent vehicle through the use of artificial intelligence, voice recognition and connection to users' smartphones.

As Dashbot's Kickstarter page succinctly puts it, "Dashbot does phone things." That means the device can make calls, send and read texts, read out directions on a GPS system and play music. The system is entirely voice-activated, so users never have to take their hands off the wheel to access its features. All they need to do is say "Dashbot" to wake the device, then say any of the intuitive commands.
