I'm a huge fan of miniatures in general, and the world that Darya Balova's 'Through the Needle's Ear' presents is so immaculate that it's nearly believable.
The landscapes in Darya Balova's 'Through the Needle's Ear' pit pomegranate seeds as hearts through which tiny arrows have pierced; grapes are giant globes that light up some imaginary market square. Through it all, tiny figurines and fairy-like furniture provide the necessary perspective through which to zoom in and view the set.
