It’s really hard for me to believe that the second house from the top clockwise is not a Photoshop product. The house, which is located in the Ukraine, is being supported by a single cantilever. That is it. The first house meanwhile, is located in Russia according to likecool.com, and it belonged to a gangster who could not see his home finished before he was thrown in the slammer. Reportedly, that is world’s tallest wooden house, standing 144 feet (thirteen floors) into thin air.

PointClickHome has wrote about a gallery of the Gravity Defying Homes. Architecture that gives "living on the edge" a whole new meaning. The left pic is the Gangster House(Archangelsk, Russia), which is believed to be the world's tallest wooden house, soaring thirteen floors to reach 144 feet. The homeowner or gangster, Nikolai Sutyagin, had all intentions of finishing the construction but his dream went on hold when he got locked up behind bars for his third jail sentence. The right pic is Floating Castle (Ukraine), which is supported by a single cantilever, this mysterious levitating farm house belongs in a sci-fi flick. (likecool)

that second pic, taken near odessa, is not a house, it's a grain mill. it looks like it was being dismantled anyhow, but the original poster admits he's photoshopped it (taking away extra supports). see http://www.panoramio.com/user/13058/tags/kin-dza-dza and http://www.panoramio.com/photo/8758890
