Thomas Penfound Turns Into Annie Lennox for Dansk #25

This Dansk #25 magazine editorial turns model Thomas Penfound into an androgynous Annie Lenox circa Missionary Man. Stylist Anders Solvsten selected a series of gender-bending separates from the likes of Maison Martin Margiela, Tom Ford and Vivienne Westwood.

Photographer Aitken Jolly captured Penfound against plain light and dark backgrounds so as not to take away from the model's Cheetos-orange hair, gothic makeup and eccentric fashion. The aforementioned fiery mane makes Penfound's black, white and brown fashion pop even more.

My favorite look in this Dansk #25 editorial is the one in which Thomas Penfound is wearing a black V-neck sweater pulled down over one shoulder. His steely gaze into the camera and angular features make me think of Lady Gaga's unconventional look. Stats for Cheetos-Hued Hair Trending: Older & Average
