Dan Park Renders Stars in Humorous & Imaginative Compositions
Giving Dan Park a pen and paper is equivalent to whipping out a camera and taking a photograph because this talented New York artist’s ability to capture the likeness of a person rivals that of a DSLR’s lens. But the magic of Park’s work happens when he’s given free rein to imagine his subjects in a variety of absurd scenarios. Case in point, his depiction of Judd Apatow’s favorite actors riding nude on a six-man tricycle down a beautiful countryside.
Dan Park works as an illustrator and art instructor. Though his rendering style is consistent throughout most of his work, you’ll notice he approaches each picture differently on a conceptual level. His illustration of Stanley Kubrick with images from iconic films floating above the legendary director’s head is simply brilliant.
