 New Technology Makes it Better than the Real Thing? Is cybersex going to be better than the real thing? It is at the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas. Cybersex has inspired these sexgineers and artists to come up with new ways to use technology for pleasure and relationships. This market is becoming so enormous that porn might be pushed to the side as more interactive technologies are starting to exist. For example, a Japanese company called Segment introduced a teledildonics system that enables real-time cybersex (using techie toys) with a partner where one can control the speed, intensity and rhythm.  But the toys also respond to video input, adjusting stimulation levels according to whatever you're watching on television, a DVD or streaming video.
What's more, you can record video of yourself using the toy and share the file -- when your partner plugs in, his or her toy will respond to what you recorded. So you can have cybersex even when your schedules don't sync up.
