Falguni and Shane Peacock Bridal Collection

We’ve had an influx of Trend Hunter articles featuring styles from countries in Asia, so searching for wedding couture from such a rich culture was inevitable.  I’ve fallen in love with India’s wedding couture, and especially the Falguni and Shane Peacock Bridal Collection.

My favorite thing, for lack of a better term, about the Peacock Bridal Collection is that they are unbridled styles that transcend time whether modern, traditional, or somewhere in between.

As these designs show, it’s acceptable to have the midriff exposed or covered, use a scarf or perhaps a silky shoulder wrap of some sort, a dress or pants or even both! The detail put into the designs and the jewels is nothing short of stunning and the jewelry is fabulous. No matter the style, these designs are sexy, classy, hip, and elegant.

I can envision India wedding couture being worn outside of Asia and in Western culture by brides who openly embrace cultural diversity and aren’t afraid to test the waters—or at least implement some of their ideas.
