Adrian Cox isn't a name that often comes to mind when you think of paintings for the artistically uninitiated but he sure knows how to create a creepy painting with style.
The Saint Louis artist follows his style very meticulously and each gives the chilling feeling of dread. They manage to do this while also balancing bright lighting and fading colors. This is understandably hard to do given that these things don't typically go together but they feel at home in his paintings.
The characters in the paintings are human-like but that's as much as I could give them. I'm not entirely sure what they are but they're what makes these creepy paintings. They look like they're covered in some sort of fungus with cotton candy-like consistency.
The creativity behind this one is the driving force. It’s interesting because it’s different than what would normally be considered modern art.
