Toss out that old square salt shaker and forget everything you’ve learned about seasoning. When it comes to flavoring your foods, it isn’t cool unless it’s in the slideshow below. Popping your own popcorn at home? It isn’t salted properly unless it explodes in fiery fashion. And the standard spice mill just won’t cut it—we prefer ones that automatically grind our seasoning when they’re tilted towards our dishes.
