1235 Donuts is a French-style, cream donut shop in East London, which has become the region's newest attraction. Located on East London's Columbia Road, the edible new attraction is a pit stop on Sunday mornings where you can pick up a fresh donut from its lemon-yellow front door.

Operating as a couple, Brad and Molly McDonald sell a limited number of beautifully prepared, perfectly sized Beignet-style donuts. Brad McDonald worked with some of the world's best restaurants including NYC's Per Se and Copenhagen's Noma.

Molly McDonald, on the other hand, conceived the idea of selling donuts to the public from their doorstep and the idea casually floated between the two of them until it finally became a reality with Brad's signature enriched batter. Neither of them expected the company to blow up to the extent that it did.
