Mother Nature can be a real prankster, and we’re reminded of this when we see crazy tree photos like these. Unlike most “normal” trees, these plants have grown in some really unusual ways. Whether creating suggestive imagery, tangling poses, or literally enveloping street signs, these guys have been extremely busy and innovative with their growth techniques.

One of the trees pictured here was actually ambitious enough to sprout right THROUGH the road, and people living nearby in Uvalde, Texas just kept it there. Others tend to bare it all and be themselves. Check them out and let Mother Nature know you appreciate her jokes.

The Word of the Day is Pareidolia - a psychological phenomenon involving a vague and random stimulus (often an image or sound) being perceived as significant. Nice!
