This exhibition provides an anthropological investigation and disciplined scrutiny into the subversive street fashion of local teenagers; the life-sized bodyscapes rendered by Chu range from tattoos to the fetish of SM and Lolita costumes. Isolated from street scenes and replaced by a clinical white backdrop, Chu ‘s subjects with their attire became a strong fashion statement full of subculture symbols.” (ArtSpace)
