Originally meant for a robot war movie, Michael Sullivan’s robots, which are made out of Barbie and G.I. Joe dolls, ended up doing robot porn. The Sex Life of Robots is an ongoing film project that features robots, stop-motion animation, and of course, sex. Needless to say, this ended up causing more controversy than the film would have, had Sullivan followed his initial plan of featuring nothing but violence. That is what you get for making love and not war. Bummer!

Even though you won’t see The Sex Life of Robots at regular movie theaters, there is still an option out there, for those of us who long to see robots getting it on.  Michael Sullivan’s The Sex Life of Robots, as well as some of the pornbot sculptures, are on temporary display at the Sex Museum in Manhattan.
