Hello Kitty Lenses & Other Crazy Contacts (SUPER GALLERY) Edit

We’ve seen some crazy contact lenses this year, and these Hello Kitty contacts make a nice end to a crazy year in eye art.

Wearing colored contacts as an accessory has become a fairly mainstream global fashion phenomenon. Everyone from caucasian celebrities like Paris Hilton (who actually has brown eyes but wears blue lenses every time she’s in the public eye) to those of ethnicities dominated by darker eyes like Asians, are seen wearing them.

More extreme varieties, however, let individuals express their quirkiest sides, and can get pretty outrageous.
