The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, the government and public health care authority organization in the Canadian city of Winnipeg, has launched a brand new iPhone app called Connected Care.

The Connected Care makes it possible for residents of Winnipeg to use their smartphones to search for different kinds of health services and facilities. These can include everything from hospitals and clinics to community health programs and other health-related organizations in the city of Winnipeg. The app offers useful information such as wait times for urgent care and emergency departments, as well as the ability to find a family doctor.

This app makes it easy for the city's health authority to connect with people in need of health services, and makes the process of finding and researching health services streamlined.
