The honeycomb condom design of Lelo's HEX condoms makes them "the world's first re-engineered condoms."

The design was inspired by the strength and durability of honeycombs and is made up of the traditional latex materials that most condoms consist of. Featuring a honeycomb pattern everywhere except for the tip, this condom claims to have more structural integrity and "added grip" than other condoms on the market. The honeycomb condom design makes it so that it can "withstand more stress." A demonstration shows that the condom keeps its structure when pierced with a needle while a regular condom does not.

With their thin but structurally sound design, these condoms are safer than most on the market and are sure to gain the attention of competing brands.
