Concept Lighting - Joel Hesselgren's Turn I and Split I (GALLERY) [Edit]

Designer Joel Hesselgren conceived these two lighting concepts that “twists and turns to your rooms content” according to Yanko Design. Dubbed “Turn I” and the “Split I “ these two concepts are cut on an angle and this provides for a very different take to lighting in a room. Hesselgren is also the maker of LEGO Salt n’ Pepper shaker, Diagonal bed and Table+ Chair toys.

I like the fact that this lighting is fully adjustable and that it can be twisted in different ways. Otherwise the lighting would be restricted to specific spaces and very unevenly distributed. But I personally don’t like this type of lighting very much because I prefer a more uniform lighting distribution than this concept seems to provide.
